The name GenACT (Generation Action Africa) is
rooted in our philosophy of choosing NOT to be bystanders,
but a generation that engage and take action towards realizing
sustainable development.
GenACT is formed by young and passionate multi disciplinary individuals
who used to work together in another organization. Together they bring
over 15 years of experience working in the intersection of youth, health
and economic development.
We are the team behind the Phil Harvey & Stars in global health award
“Reproductive health conversations” program and we are also co-charing
the youth summit of the ICFP2025. Some of our team members are among
the ICFP 2025 Youth Trailblazers.
A society where adolescents and young people thrive.
To promote inclusive leadership, meaningful youth engagement, and evidence-based, youth-friendly policies through capacity building, social accountability, and advocacy.
To collaborate with grassroots movements, national entities, and international organizations within the SRHR landscape to advance youth-led initiatives, strengthen reproductive health systems, and promote inclusive, rights-based solutions that empower adolescents and young people at all levels of society.
